Our Pre-Launch Event
We were overwhelmed by the response to our pre-launch event on the 10th June. It was brilliant to bring so many passionate professionals together in one place across a range of sectors including health and social care, education and the charity. We got such a good turnout that by the end of the event, we were standing room only.
The event started with a chance to network with fellow attendees and enjoy some lunch. Next, Rachael, the Here to Help Service Manager, delivered a presentation providing an overview of the Here to Help project and answered attendee’s questions. There were so many insightful and engaging questions that this part of the event was a highlight for many. After a quick refreshment break, attendees were able to sample one of our workshops and provide feedback on how we can improve our sessions before we roll them out on the 1st of July. Attendees were also able to experience our Magic Space mobile sensory unit. The Magic Space provides a range of sensory experiences including vibrations; sound; lights and smells.
Our friends at MAIN were kind enough to let us use their venue at North Ormesby for the event and our attendees also loved getting to find out more about the amazing services MAIN offer. Going forward, we were be working closely with MAIN across the entire project.
Overall, the event was a great opportunity to make connections across the Tees Valley, which we hope to continue through our professional steering group.
